Wayanad - Green Mode!!!

One fine evening, me and my friends decided to meet for Dinner. Then came to our mind, to visit green city( what i call) Wayanad. This was our second visit and We packed our bags the next weekend and drove to wayanad along bandipur. It was night drive and we love night driving, especially drive in forests....which is fun and scary too. Me and my friend KV are always in mood to drive at night and rest sleep behind. We stopped at coffee joint to have a hot!!! coffee.

Chilled weather and hot coffee is always the right combination. We finished our coffee and onto the jungles of bandipur. we spotted 3 huge elephants on the road trying to enjoi the heat of the road. It was fun driving in the jungle without honking and without high beam ( Honking & high beam attracts elephants..so beware).

On the way to waynad we thought of visiting our bloved Bajesh house. We were greeted with hot black tea. It was first taste for me and i luved it.

We had finger licking, tasty kerala food at bajesh house and slept warm in his home sweet home. Early morning, we had nice Black tea again. I had a walk around his place enjoing the beauty of the atmosphere. Wish i had a house here...its so green and walking along the wet roads and greenery all along the road with a cup of black tea in hand..ahhh awesome isnt it..

Was just amazed with the Hospitality, Food and atmosphere.

Around 11:00 in the Morning, we planned to leave to waynad. Captured few stunning pictures on mother nature.We were excited to do some boating and we planned to visit kurva island. It was just a walk around the island with a guide. Enjoyed the atmosphere and heard tribal kids screaming and playing around the island, that was the fun part. There was nothing much to enjoi, apart from the green forest, singing birds and tribal people. We were exhausted after walking 5 kms across the island.

The Guide who was acually scaring us of crocodiles in the river, helped us spotting a nice calm corner of the river, where we had real fun playing in the water. Water was so cold...uhhhh..but once u get into it, u will never feel like coming out. we spend more time playing in the water.

Okie, enuf of swimming and jumping in the river. It was getting Dark and we had to reach our nest...Nest? ho god we havn't planned of anything such....:( Worst part of the day was, we forgot completely that we need some time to search a good palce to stay. We wandered around waynad.But unfortunately heard "No Rooms" everywhere. We phoned our friends, friend's friend and luckily around 7 30 in the evening, we found a place called "Veda kuteera". We were stunned to see the place. It was just awesome. The cottage, the atmosphere, food uhhh..no words to describe just everything in it. I have decided to stay here, everytime i visit waynad.

We had barbeque treat here, watever we ordered was instantly cooked and served hot outside the cottage under the shelter with light drizzling rain..wow perfect ambience "Feeling perfect". We had yummy food and had a long chat before we jumped onto our beds.

We got up late in the morning and decided to take look around the place. Again, it was just eye catching and feel good atmosphere. The place wa actually sorrounded by ayurvedic plantation.

We Captured few stunning photographs...and back to cottage, had some hot dosa's, omlets and Hot tea. And decided to Leave.

On the way back home, we were very hungry inspite hogging so much. And we decided to visit "Planet X" the famous resort in Mysore. Planet X as name says...its just a planet with everything in it....resort,restuarant,Go-karting,Bowling,Mini golf, Disc, Video games..kool place to spend time. We did some bowling, played some video games and had mouth watering food. We were amazed to see the orders taken in this place. it was "Palmtop". Steward takes the order on it and prints a bill in the kitchen, where the cook takes it, parallely the order is in the main counter as well for the final settlement. Just amazing!!!.

Ultimately, drove back home....asusual amazing drive, yummy food and JUST FUN all over....!!!!!
